I still own, not my first pair, but the first pair of Weejuns paid for with my own earnings. (In the back of the closet, of course.) Forty-two years later, penny loafers, black-tan-wine, still form a major portion of my footwear wardrobe. Throw in &#039;boat shoes&#039; and loafers are the biggest players.

Sadly, the quality of Bass&#039;s line, as well as BB&#039;s basic loafer, has declined in quality and comfort. Joy, though, because Allen Edmonds and Cole Haan still have excellent offerings. I own all four of these brands, but AE &amp; CH are worn when a stylish impression is to be made and more comfort is demanded. 

Anyway, that&#039;s my two cents.</description>
